What do I do for a living?
I am a front-end developer at Carnegie Mellon University, based in the Marketing department. My team is called "Web Strategy", and we are responsible for the look and feel of all university-managed web pages, as well as the management of the software and systems that support it.
I mainly work in Drupal (I'm a certified expert!), but I also work in Cascade CMS, which is an enterprise CMS from a company called Hannon Hill.
Right now, we just launched the CMU Miami page. We continue to work through feature development and bug fixes for existing sites. We're preparing for a new University News site, which is being built by a vendor but will be owned by our team.
I've been very busy!
What am I listening to?
